vRecovery - Off-Site Server Disaster Recovery

Most people think a disaster will never happen them. The reality, as shown by events in recent years, is that disaster can happen to anyone, anywhere when least expected. vRecovery is a unique solution for clients that want to protect their business against a localised disaster in their server room or business premises due to fire, flood, security breach, virus attack or plain old hardware failure, etc. Based on server technology from HP and server virtualisation technology from  VMWare, vRecovery allows us to recover your servers quickly and efficiently.

The principle behind vRecovery is simple. Baseline Disaster Recovery images of your server(s) (and desktops if necessary) are created and stored off-site at a secure data centre. All subsequent changes to your environment are sent to the data centre at regular intervals by way of incremental backups to the baseline images. At the data centre our Intelligent Image Management Solution merges the incremental updates into the baseline image at regular inttervals ensuring the base image is always up-to-date. The system allows us to maintain multiple backup sets if required including multiple Baseline Images with the corresponding incrementals. In the event of a disaster on an individual server, the most recent baseline image can be restored into a virtual server and delivered to your office or other location as required. In the event of a catastrophic disaster such as fire, your entire environment can be restored to either virtual machines or new hardware using unique patented Hardware Independent Restore technology.
